Super 8 by Wyndham Waterloo

You get what you pay for. The guy at the front desk was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The location is superb. The rooms are budget friendly. I've stayed in much worse hotels. I've also stayed in 4 star hotels. You just need to set your expectations to the environment you're choosing to submerse yourself in. I needed a budget friendly hotel that was in a great location just outside of the city but still close enough for personal reasons. This hit every mark I was looking for thus, despite the minor cosmetic flaws in the room, I still am a satisfied customer and will return if I am met with the same circumstances I was in when I stayed here. Besides, good customer service is hard to come by these days so I'll sacrifice a broken closet door knob for a front desk person that is willing and happy to assist me throughout my stay. Thanks to the guy at the front desk. My interactions with you were the only memorable thing on this trip.

This isn't the fanciest hotel but the staff was super nice .the shower was great had an adjustable head and great water pressure to relax your muscles . The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were very quiet .the air conditioner worked great not all hotels have that.also the breakfast bar was very clean .

We put up my mother here for a week. She was visiting family on both sides of the river. She said the room was like a small apartment. Big bathroom. Place was clean. 04.14.24 Mom was visiting. Got a room. She said alittle dirtier then last time here.

Nice place to stay for the price range. Clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast was eh...okish. I'd stay again if in were in that area.

As we came into town, the motel was right there, easy access and a block from stores and restaurants, very convenient. The room, handicap room, was great. Lots of handles and a seat in the bathroom. Extra phone, just in case and very spacious. This alone made a huge difference. The rest of the room, amazing bed and, everything was extremely clean. A powerful, but quiet, A/C was our friend during some rather hot days. Breakfast was simple "to go" kind of food, as advertised, no surprises or disappointment. The staff was way more then what we expected from a Super 8, each and every member we encountered was courteous, knowledgeable and very friendly. Eager to assist and always encouraged us to reach out if everything was needed. Like the room, everything was super clean, no odors and very well kept up. Couch in the lobby very comfortable and plenty of luggage carts The clean environment even carried out into the parking lot, not even a piece of paper on the ground. We stayed 2 nights, Thu and Fri, the place was quiet, no traffic noise, so we would absolutely recommend this location, and if we get back in the area, would definitely stay here again. Price was fair we thought, no complaints. This is an easy 5 stars review. If only more Super 8 would be like this one.

Very nice owners, really go above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Greatful for their willingness to do my laundry in their commercial washer! Super accommodating. Thank you for everything!

Not fancy, not dingy, just kind of an okay place to stay. It did seem quite expensive for its location, but it is the only place in the area so I guess that justifies it. Housekeeping was good, the room was fairly nicely laid out, and the staff was friendly. The room was kept reasonably clean and the free breakfast was somewhat better than average.

We have stayed over the years when we visit Waterloo. Great location and near highway and downtown area. The owners are friendly, and very accommodating. The hotel and room was clean. It is not a new hotel but a comfortable hotel. Each stay we see how the owners have worked hard to make improvements. We will definitely continue to come back!
